Who are NATO's International Staff?

About Us

NATO Headquarters is located in Brussels, Belgium and serves as the political and administrative centre of the Alliance. It is the permanent home of the North Atlantic Council (NAC), NATO's senior political decision-making body, which is supported in its daily work by NATO’s International Staff (IS).

Today, there are more than 1,500 civilians working in the International Staff at NATO Headquarters.
