Dylan served as NATO’s Head of Press and Media and Deputy Spokesperson from 2022 to 2024. In this capacity, he was responsible for NATO Headquarters’ diverse and dynamic press office, counting some three dozen professionals from across the Alliance. During his tenure, media coverage of NATO reached some 5 billion people in over 100 countries annually. For one-third of this period, Dylan also served as acting NATO Spokesperson.

In this capacity, Dylan was responsible for developing the Alliance’s public messaging, and providing strategic advice to the Secretary General, the North Atlantic Council, and NATO commands and offices. This involved directing public communications for complex and often unprecedented official travel, including to Afghanistan, Iraq, and Ukraine, as well as Canada’s High Arctic, Australia, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and the United States.

In 2024, he departed Brussels to become Head of NATO’s Liaison Office to the United Nations in New York. 
 
Dylan holds an M.Sc. in International Public Policy from University College London, and an H.B.A. in Political Science and English from the University of Toronto.
