The media programme will be available online at a later stage. To help with media travel plans, the Summit’s formal opening is on 7 July, and its end in the afternoon on 8 July 2026.
Details about the programme and media logistics will be available in late-June. Please check the NATO website and X accounts (@NATO, @OTAN_FR, and @NATOPress) for updates.
All summit media events will be transmitted live by the Summit Host TV to the media centre, online and via satellite. Bilateral events between delegations are not a part of the official Summit programme. Details of these bilateral events should be sought from the delegations concerned. A National Press Officers list will be made available by mid-June. Please contact the NATO Press Office to obtain the list of national press officers.
Visual media will be able to cover the main summit events based on a pool system. More details about pool opportunities will be provided together with the media programme.
Media accepting a NATO pool position must share immediately all information and material collected while in the pool with any accredited media that request it, at no charge and with no restriction on the use of the material for news purposes. Media organisations that want pooled images should first contact the wire service / photo agency of which they are a client. Media representatives and news organisations must identify that it is pooled material every time it is used. Pooled material can only be used for legitimate news purposes and it cannot be sold.
Due to limited space and security measures, some official events will only be covered by the host broadcaster, who will make all footage available. Detailed information on plans for pool coverage will be communicated in the Media Info Note and the media programme.
No live broadcast vehicles will be allowed near the Summit area except for the host broadcaster. Therefore, news agencies and television organisations planning live broadcasts must carry out their 5G (Live-U devices) installations in advance.
International Media Centre (IMC) will be located in the Presidential Nation’s Library (Millet Kütüphanesi). It will be open on Sunday 5 July (for broadcasters only) and Monday 6 July, from 10 am until 6 pm, and continuously from Tuesday, 7 July, 6 am until Thursday, 9 July, 5 am. Dates and times are subject to change. There will be media shuttles from the Accreditation Office in the Directorate of Communications and from several points near the press hotels to the IMC.
