On Thursday, 11 December, the NATO Secretary General, Mr Mark Rutte, will visit Berlin, Germany. The Secretary General will meet the Federal Chancellor, Mr Friedrich Merz, and the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Johann Wadephul.

While in Berlin, the Secretary General will provide a keynote address at the “MSC in Berlin” event organised by the Munich Security Conference.

14.00 (CET) Keynote speech by the NATO Secretary General and moderated discussion with the Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Johann Wadephul.

  • A transcript of the Secretary General’s remarks, as well as pictures, will be available on the NATO website. Video will be available for free download from the NATO Multimedia Portal after the event.
