High level journalists from Israel visit NATO

On 4 December 2008 the NATO Public Diplomacy Division organized a visit to NATO Headquarters of high-level journalists from Israel.
During the visit, the delegation met with the NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer and other high-level NATO officials.
Participants also attended a working lunch chaired by Amb. Štefan Füle, Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the North Atlantic Council, which acts as NATO’s contact point embassy for Israel.
Topics discussed included the Alliance’s transformation, the Mediterranean Dialogue, the current NATO political issues, NATO’s operations, NATO’s fight against terrorism, military cooperative activities under the Mediterranean Dialogue.
