The North Atlantic Treaty Organization is offering one NATO Manfred Wörner Fellowship for the academic cycle 2003/2004. Candidates must be nationals of members of the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC) - a forum for consultation and cooperation between NATO Members countries and Partner countries. They should be graduates of a university with an established reputation, and preferably Ph.D. holders.

The fellow will be awarded the sum of euro 20,000 or the equivalent in local currency, inclusive of transport expenses.

The announcement of the recipient will be made by the Secretary General during the opening ceremony of the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC) Spring Ministerial meeting in 2003, which is open to the media.
