The flood emergency situation in Romania is being continuously and closely monitored by NATO's Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC). The EADRCC is in contact with the Civil Protection Command in Bucharest and stands available and ready to initiate - upon request of the Government of Romania - its procedures aimed at disseminating requests for assistance throughout the 45 Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council countries and coordinating their responses.
