INFORMATION

The President of Romania, Mr. Ion Iliescu, will visit NATO
Headquarters on 4 November 1994 to meet the Secretary
General. The visit will begin at 18:15.
Mr. Iliescu's departure is expected at 19:00.

PROGRAMME OF THE VISIT

18:10 - NATO main entrance. Arrival of Mr. Iliescu.
Met by the Secretary General, Mr Willy Claes. Open
coverage on a first-come, first-served basis.

18:15 - Bilateral meeting with Secretary General in the
Private Office. In view of the limited space available,
only a restricted pool will be authorized to cover the
beginning of the meeting.

+ 18:45 - NATO main entrance. Brief 5-minute meeting with
the press. Departure of the President of Romania at or
before 19:00.

ACCREDITATION

Journalists wishing to cover the visit of the President of
Romania will be allowed into the NATO premises on
presentation of a NATO accreditation pass or a valid press
pass. Photographers and cameramen wishing to be part of
the Restricted Pool should contact Mr. N. Fiorenza (see
below).
