(As delivered)

Thank you for making the time to host in this beautiful residence. And let me just say, I mean, this relationship means a lot to me. It's important for NATO - the UK is delivering the hard power, not only for the defence of the UK, but for the whole of NATO.

An example of that is what you are doing now with Eastern Sentry, delivering the jets - the fighter jets - to help out with the defence of our eastern flank. But also the leadership the United Kingdom, under your leadership, is providing when it comes to the Coalition of the Willing, together with France. This is extremely important, discussing the security guarantees for Ukraine - hopefully post a long-term ceasefire or a peace deal - and the US now having committed to also get involved. But also the leadership you’re providing, together with Germany when it comes to the UDCG. And this is this group of countries making sure that Ukraine has all the weapons they need to stay in the fight, but also be in the strongest possible position whenever peace talks start.

So these are two, let's say, issues where you provide the leadership. It's not just talk. It is the walk. It is doing it, and also the Defence Review, which is really NATO-centred, NATO [inaudible] and everywhere. So I really want to thank you for that and also for the opportunity again to strategize, discuss how to take all this forward. So, thank you so much.
