(As delivered)

First of all, welcome to all of you. Good morning.

It's great to see you here in Oslo, at the Oslo City Hall. I very much look forward to this informal meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers.

There are many big issues to be discussed: Ukraine, deterrence and defence, defence spending, how to strengthen our partnership with the Indo-Pacific partners, and, of course, also how to make progress on making Sweden a full-fledged member of the Alliance.

But now, I'd like to give the floor to our host, Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt.

And thank you also for hosting us yesterday at this beautiful dinner.

So Anniken, you have the floor.

[Norwegian Foreign Minister’s remarks]

With that, I thank the media for joining us at the top of the meeting. And then, we will continue the meeting in just a moment.
