So, good morning to our colleagues in North America.

Good afternoon to all of us in Europe.

And good evening to partners in Australia.

Today we will discuss NATO’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring that we can provide support at short notice to Allies or partners.

We will also discuss the importance of making our societies more resilient.

So that we are better prepared to face and recover from future crises.

I am pleased that we are joined today by EU High Representative / Vice President Borrell.

As well as our colleagues from Finland, Minister Kaikkonen, Sweden, Minister Hultqvist and Australia, Minister Reynolds.

Welcome to all of you.

Our work together on all these issues is important.
