Good morning to all of you. Welcome to this session.
In this session, we will focus on NATO’s operations.
Our mission in Afghanistan remains a top priority. We continue to support Afghan forces with training and with funding.
So that they fight international terrorism and create the conditions for peace.
At our July Summit, we also launched a new training mission in Iraq.
To help Iraqi forces ensure that ISIS does not re-emerge.
We will also discuss our KFOR mission, which continues to make an important contribution to stability in the whole Western Balkans region.
And, we will address our level of engagement with the Kosovo Security Force.
And with that I conclude my public opening remarks
And I thank the media for being with us at the beginning of the meeting.
