Good afternoon.
Welcome to this meeting of NATO Defence Ministers.
Since 2014, our security environment has changed significantly. NATO is ready to deter and defend against any threat from any direction. From land, sea and air. And from cyberspace.
Today we will take further decisions to strengthen our deterrence and defence and modernise our Alliance. We will ensure that our Command Structure is fit for the challenges we face.
With an increased focus on maritime, logistics and movement, situational awareness, and cyber defence.
So that our forces can be in the right place, at the right time, with the right equipment.
These decisions will make NATO stronger and more agile.
To protect our almost one billion citizens.
That ends the public part of this meeting.
And I thank the media for being here with us this afternoon.
