Comments given today to the media have given the false impression that negotiations in the NATO-Russia Council have been blocked. They have not.
Negotiations are continuing on several documents in the run-up to Friday’s ministerial meeting of the NATO-Russia Council. Secretary General Rasmussen, the Chair of the NRC, looks forward to a positive outcome on Friday, as a result of constructive ongoing negotiations by all delegations.
