Dear Mr. Chairman! Ladies and Gentlemen!

The tragic events of 11th September that took place in the United States have demonstrated the true dimensions of how modern international terrorism threatens our way of life.

Decisively denouncing terrorism in all its forms Ukraine welcomes the solidarity of the international community against this global threat.

Ukraine considers it important to be an active participant in this antiterrorist campaign, and is fully ready to take part in the development of new approaches to Euro-Atlantic Security System, which, we feel, even closer relations between Allies and Partners can only help.

I am convinced that our high-level dialogue is an essential part of NATO/EAPC business, as well as a vital tool in this fight against terrorism.

Many thanks for your attention.
