I wish to reaffirm my confidence in the French forces who are participating in SFOR. The commitment of France to peace in Bosnia has been long standing and very extensive. Professionalism and courage have been displayed by the French forces even in the most difficult circumstances. I wish to reiterate that SFOR is a joint effort. All the members of the Alliance participating in SFOR follow the same policy with respect to indicted war criminals, as defined by the NAC. All Allies believe strongly that all indicted war criminals should be placed in the custody of the ICTY in The Hague as rapidly as possible.
