NATO Summit Defence Industry Forum

On 24 June, Defence Ministers, government officials and industry executives from NATO countries and partners from the Indo-Pacific region convened at the NATO Summit Defence Industry Forum in The Hague. These global security partners aimed to identify actionable solutions to scale up, accelerate and reinforce the defence industry on both sides of the Atlantic, and innovate to maintain NATO’s deterrence and defence. The event was hosted by the Dutch Ministry of Defence and NATO, in cooperation with the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

NATO Public Forum

During the summit in The Hague, NATO and the Government of the Netherlands hosted the NATO Public Forum together with the Atlantic Commission of the Netherlands, the Clingendael Institute and The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies. The Public Forum aims to promote a better public understanding of NATO’s policies and goals, and the decisions that are adopted at the NATO Summit through dialogue and engagement with a diverse group of stakeholders. Heads of State and Government, Ministers, international security experts, opinion formers, academics, journalists and young people came together in a series of panel discussions, debates and interactive sessions about various topics on the summit agenda.
