Заступник Генерального секретаря Мірча Джоане виступив на 69-му щорічному засіданні Парламентської асамблеї НАТО в Копенгагені, Данія, в понеділок, 9 жовтня 2023 року.

У своєму слові пан Джоане наголосив на важливій ролі парламентарів у продовженні підтримки України з боку НАТО, посиленні стримування і оборони НАТО, і у захисті спільних цінностей свободи, демократії і верховенства права. Заступник Генерального секретаря подякував Данії, як  господарю заходу, за її внески в НАТО. Пан Джоане також засудив дії Хамасу проти Ізраїлю цими вихідними, які не підлягають жодному виправданню.

В щорічному засіданні Парламентської асамблеї НАТО взяли участь понад 270 парламентарів із 31 країни – члена НАТО, а також майже 100 депутатів із 25 країн-партнерів і парламентських організацій.
