Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoană addressed students of the Paris School of International Affairs at Sciences Po on Monday (24 April 2023), together with the French Ambassador to NATO, Muriel Domenach.

Mr Geoană commended Ukraine’s strong resilience in the face of Russia’s brutal war of aggression, and further underlined the “incredible unity of the political West” in support for Kyiv, saying that the war “has brought NATO and the European Union closer together”. He stressed that “the way in which we will respond to aggression will be the way in which the future of the world will look like”.
