NATO Deputy Secretary General, Mircea Geoană, spoke today (4 November 2022) at the GoTech World 2022 Conference in Romania. He said that our security is tied to our ability not just to innovate but to innovate differently, responsibly, and cooperatively.

Mr Geoană said, “We want the disruptors from all areas of life: public, private and academic. The people who think and act differently. In NATO, we’re now in the business of uniting disruptors to shape a peaceful future.”

The GoTech World 2022 conference is one of the most important technology events in Central and Eastern Europe. This year’s theme is “Act now through innovation and technology for a better and safer world”.
