Deputy Secretary General: NATO is playing its part to keep the digital space safe

Speaking virtually at the Aspen Digital Security Forum on Saturday (24 September 2022), Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoană highlighted that NATO is playing its part to keep the digital space safe.
“We live in a world where digital borders matter as much as physical ones,” said Mr Geoană. He explained that the Alliance is stepping up efforts to retain the technological edge, enhancing the resilience of its societies and critical infrastructure, and strengthening partnerships with relevant stakeholders – not least in the private sector.
