У своєму виступі на Анталійському дипломатичному форумі в Туреччині у п’ятницю, 11 березня 2022 року, Генеральний секретар Єнс Столтенберг описав реакцію НАТО на вторгнення Росії в Україну, в тому числі військову, гуманітарну і фінансову підтримку Києва, безпрецедентну ціну, накладену на Росію і посилення стримування і оборони Альянсу.

Назвавши політику відкритих дверей «історичним успіхом», пан Столтенберг наголосив, що Кремль повинен поважати фундаментальний принцип, за яким кожна країна має право обирати свій власний шлях.
