Appointment of Daniela Morgante as IBAN Chair

The North Atlantic Council reappointed Ms. Daniela Morgante, Italian Board Member, as Chair of IBAN with effect from 01 November 2021 to the end of her mandate on 31 July 2023.
Ms. Morgante is a judge with the Italian Court of Accounts and Council initially appointed her as an IBAN Board Member on 01 August 2019 for a four-year mandate. She has already served as Chair of IBAN since 01 November 2019.
In her role as IBAN Chair, Ms. Morgante is responsible for the organisation, planning and allocation of IBAN’s work among Board Members and audit staff for the successful execution of the IBAN’s mandate. The Chair also coordinates the external representation of the IBAN.
