Виступаючи на віртуальній щорічній сесії Парламентської асамблеї НАТО в понеділок, 23 листопада 2020 року, Генеральний секретар НАТО Єнс Столтенберг сказав, що ініціатива «НАТО – 2030» зробить «наш сильний Альянс ще сильнішим і готовим відповісти на будь-які виклики наступного десятиріччя і поза ним» і зазначив, що «НАТО – це єдине місце, де країни Європи і Північної Америки зустрічаються щодня. Нам потрібно це розвивати і ще більше використовувати НАТО як форум для щирих дискусій з широкого кола питань безпеки».
