Description
This workshop aims to transfer knowledge about geohazards in the Caucasus, share transboundary data and suggest practical methods to mitigate the risk of geohazards to critical infrastructure, including hydropower plants, nuclear power plants and gas and oil pipelines. During the workshop, experts will organise a field trip to assess the state of monitoring technologies and to compare risk maps of the region. They will discuss how to improve civil emergency preparedness and prevention in case of a natural geological disaster.
