Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg met with Estonian Prime Minister Jüri Ratas at NATO Headquarters on Monday (27 May 2019) to discuss the Alliance’s continuing adaptation and preparations for the upcoming London Summit in December.

The Secretary General commended Estonia for its leadership on defence spending, for contributions to NATO missions and operations, for hosting a multinational NATO battlegroup, and for expertise in cyber defence. Mr. Stoltenberg said: “NATO will continue to stay committed to the security of Estonia, with our battlegroups, with our air policing, and with our ironclad commitment to your security”.
