His Majesty the King of the Belgians bestowed upon Ambassador Csilla Wurtz the very high honour of Grand Officer of the Order of Leopold II last Friday (22 June 2018). The ceremony was performed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Didier Reynders at the Delegation of Belgium at the new NATO Headquarters. NATO Deputy Secretary General Rose Gottemoeller attended the ceremony and congratulated Ambassador Wurtz on this high achievement.

Ambassador Csilla Würtz was the Secretary of the North Atlantic Council, Chief of Protocol of NATO HQ and Director of the NATO IS Ministerial and Summit Task Forces. She worked in that capacity for five years and led the NATO Task Force for the Heads of State Meeting last year in Brussels. She was previously a diplomat within the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
