Mechanism
Advanced Research Workshop
Dates
14 - 16 Nov 2018
Location
Vilnius, Lithuania
Description
As a part of NATO's Smart Energy Initiative that was launched in 2011, the conference and exhibition 'Innovative Energy Solutions for Military Applications' (IESMA) has become a recognized platform for bringing together the military, academia and industry, as well as governmental representatives from the capitals and from NATO's command structure. IESMA's 2018 goals are to highlight the advancements made during the last two years, facilitate information exchange and encourage technology transfer. As a new feature, IESMA 2018 will have a focus session on hybrid power generation and micro grids for dual use, using innovative energy solutions that could be especially interesting for organisations that have sensor stations or observation platforms or deployable field camps in remote locations.
