NATO cyber experts will test and train their ability to defend against cyber attacks in the largest international live-fire cyber defence exercise, Locked Shields (23 April – 27 April).
A team of 30 from the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) will be taking part in the week-long event, alongside 1000 national experts from around 30 nations.
The competition has been organized annually by the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCDCOE) based in Tallinn, Estonia, since 2010. Locked Shields is an opportunity for cyber defenders to test the protection of their IT systems and critical infrastructure in a safe environment, under realistic challenges by world-class opponents.
