NATO workshop examines security agreements with partners

A workshop on “Security Agreements with Non-NATO Nations and International Organisations” took place in Taormina, Sicily from 13-15 March, 2018. The workshop focused on leveraging collective knowledge and experience in the complex domain of bilateral security engagements through sharing best practices and lessons learned.
Organised by the NATO Office of Security, with the support of the Italian National Security Authority (Central Secrecy Office), the workshop was the first event of this kind and gathered more than 50 representatives from 23 NATO Allies.
The event proved to be an extremely valuable forum where all participants benefited from the close cooperation within the Alliance.
