Title
Critical Energy Infrastructure Security Course
Mechanism
Advanced Training Course (ATC)
Dates
16 - 20 Oct 2017
Location
Kiev, Ukraine
Description
This advanced training course seeks to support relevant national authorities of several NATO partner countries, particularly Ukraine, in improving their emergency preparedness, planning, prevention and threat response in the area of critical energy infrastructure security, with a particular focus on electricity related infrastructure. It would complement and reinforce the planned Table Top Exercise (TTX) on the Protection of Critical Energy Infrastructure, to be organised by the NATO ENSEC COE in Kiyv, Ukraine, as part of the NATO Comprehensive Assistance Package for Ukraine. Since the training course would be attended by representatives from a number of NATO member and partner countries, it would provide opportunities to share best practices and innovative solutions to ensure energy infrastructure security.
