NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will visit the White House on Wednesday (12 April 2017) for his first meeting with President Donald J. Trump and his national security team. They will discuss preparations for the meeting of NATO heads of state and government in Brussels on 25 May, including NATO's contribution to the fight against terrorism and burden-sharing within the Alliance.
On Wednesday morning, Mr. Stoltenberg will lay a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery, in tribute to fallen US servicemen and women. On Thursday, the Secretary General will hold a townhall meeting at the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University.
