NATO Secretary General to attend opening of UN General Assembly

NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen will join other world leaders at this week’s opening of the United Nations General Assembly’s ministerial session which starts on Wednesday (24 September 2014) in New York.
The Secretary General will on Monday (22 September 2014) participate in a panel discussion at the Clinton Global Initiative annual meeting.
During his visit from 22-24 September, he will also deliver a speech at the United States Military Academy at West Point and will meet with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to discuss the issues on the top of the security agenda.
