В ходе учений НАТО «Стедфаст джевелин-2» проходит проверку оперативная совместимость Североатлантического союза

В понедельник (8 сентября 2014 г.) завершились учения НАТО «Стедфаст джавелин-2» продолжительностью в одну неделю, в рамках которых в интенсивных тренировках приняли участие более 2000 военнослужащих из десяти стран НАТО. В ходе учений, которые прошли в Эстонии, Германии, Латвии, Литве и Польше, внимание было сосредоточено на укреплении оперативной совместимости военно-воздушных и сухопутных сил посредством воздушно-десантных и десантно-штурмовых операций. «Проводя эти учения, НАТО посылает ясный сигнал о своей приверженности и готовности защищать территории государств-членов в любое время», – сказал командующий командованием ОВС НАТО в Брюнсуме генерал Ханс-Лотар Домрезе.
