The United Nations Under-Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs Baroness Amos visited NATO Headquarters on Friday 15 February 2013 and met with the Deputy Secretary General Alexander Vershbow.

The meeting was an opportunity to discuss progress in cooperation between NATO and the United Nations and how to deepen political dialogue. The Deputy Secretary General also thanked Baroness Amos for her efforts in helping to build a constructive and pragmatic partnership between the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and NATO.
