On 16 November, the NATO Political Affairs and Security Policy Division organised a visit to NATO Headquarters for a group of young leaders from the Middle East and North Africa, who were visiting Brussels as part of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations Fellowship Programme.

Topics discussed include NATO’s transformation and outreach to the Mediterranean and the Middle East region; its operations; and its current agenda.

The group met with Mr. Nicola de Santis, Head of the Middle East and North Africa Section in the Political Affairs and Security Policy Division, Ms. Stephanie Siklossy, Political Officer in the Middle East and North Africa Section, Mr. Ben Nimmo, Press Officer in the Public Diplomacy Division, and Mr. Mihai Carp, Deputy Head of the Operations Section in the Operations Division.
