''Chicago Summit – a game changer for NATO and Industry''

Allied Command Transformation (ACT) and Defence Investment Division will co-host ‘NATO Industry Day’ 2012 in Riga (Latvia) on October 15-16. The conference will highlight the importance of the cooperation between NATO and industry.
Industry Day will be an opportunity for an exchange of views on the capability development process. This year’s event will focus of the decisions taken by NATO Heads of State and Government during the Chicago Summit in May. Recognising the need to adapt to the new strategic environment and to emerging technologies, the conference will also explore ways to strengthening the NATO-Industry relationship, in support of Smart Defence and Connected Forces Initiatives.
