General Stéphane Abrial, Supreme Allied Commander Transformation since 2009, was at NATO's Headquarters in Brussels today, 12 September.
Following an update to the Council this morning on the Alliance transformation to meet the challenges of the 21st century, he attended a press point by the NATO Spokesperson.
General Abrial used this opportunity to present the progress made by the Alliance since the NATO Summit in Chicago in the area of multinational cooperation and interoperability, and he underlined the need to continue on this path in a difficult economic context.
