Відповідно до ухваленого в Стратегічній концепції напряму міністри оборони прийняли сьогодні переглянуту політику НАТО щодо кіберзахисту. В цій політиці визначено чітке бачення дій НАТО щодо кіберзахисту в усьому Альянсі.
Переглянута політика передбачає єдиний узгоджений підхід до кіберзахисту в Альянсі з наголосом на запобіганні комп’ютерним загрозам і розвитку стійкості. Усі структури НАТО будуть забезпечені централізованим захистом і застосовуватимуться нові вимоги до кіберзахисту. В цій політиці роз’яснюються політичні і оперативні механізми реагування НАТО на комп’ютерні напади, а також забезпечується інтеграція кіберзахисту до процесу оборонного планування в НАТО. В політиці також визначено принципи співпраці НАТО в сфері кібер-захисту з країнами-партнерами, міжнародними організаціями, приватним сектором і науковими колами.
Паралельно з політикою був узгоджений План дій з кіберзахисту. План дій буде інструментом забезпечення вчасного і результативного втілення політики в життя.
