Zurich, 1 June 2011 - The Director General of NATO IMS, Lieutenant General Jürgen Bornemann attended the International Security Forum in Zurich, Switzerland.

The International Security Forum 2011 was convened from 30 May - 1 June 2011 in Zurich by the Center for Security Studies (CSS) at  the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH ) Zurich under the title "Regional and Global Security: Meeting Tomorrow’s Challenges Today."

 Among this year's conference partners, Swiss Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS), Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA), Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF) and International Relations and Security Network (ISN) . The panel sessions consisted of the  several themed tracks , among which Regional Security , Present and Future of Conflicts, Human Security, State Failure / State Building .

The final conference day begins with three topic sessions and concludes with a plenary session discussing "Power Shifts and International Order" .
