NATO Secretary General meets the Foreign Minister of Egypt

On 30 November 2009, the Secretary General of NATO H.E. Mr Anders Fogh Rasmussen was invited to a working dinner by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt H.E. Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, at the residence of the Ambassador of Egypt to Belgium H.E. Amb. Fatma El Zahra Etman.
The Secretary General of NATO and the Minister of Foreign Affairs had a very cordial exchange of views on a number of issues, including the way forward in NATO-Egypt relations in the framework of the Mediterranean Dialogue, the role of NATO and of the international community in Afghanistan, the current situation in the Mediterranean and in the Middle East region.
