On 9 June, Finland and the NATO Consultation, Command and Control Agency (NC3A) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on mutual cooperation in key defence technology areas.
Finland is a long-standing participant in the NATO Partnership for Peace programme with a strong track record of contributing to NATO missions and exercises.
The agreement facilitates collaboration in new areas such as net-enabled technologies that support 21st century peace operations, and the verification and validation of interoperability of key systems and technologies.
Sweden was the first partner country to sign a similar agreement with NC3A in 2007.
The press officers of the NC3A as well as theFinnish Mission to NATO stand ready to answer any queries:
NC3A: Mr Michal Olejarnik - michal.olejarnik@nc3a.nato.int
Finnish Mission to NATO: Ms Helena Hakaoja - helena.hakaoja@formin.fi
