Deputy Secretary General of NATO visits the Kingdom of Bahrain

On 19 May 2009 the Deputy Secretary General of NATO H.E. Ambassador Claudio Bisogniero paid an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, to discuss the way forward in the political and practical cooperation between NATO and Bahrain, in the framework of the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative.
During the visit, the Deputy Secretary General had bilateral talks with H. E. Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, with H.E. Sheikh Mohamed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain and with H. E. Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa, the Assistant Undersecretary for Coordination and Follow-up of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain.
