The international conference, “NATO: Young at 60”, took place on 26-27 February 2009 in Brdo, near Kranj, in Slovenia. The Euro-Atlantic Council of Slovenia organized the conference with the support of NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division.

Held on the eve of NATO’s 60th anniversary, this unique event gathered all post-Communist NATO member states and allowed them to compare their lessons and experiences.

Participants also reflected upon the future possible enlargement of the Allianceand celebrated the individual membership anniversaries of recent Allies.
