The second meeting which took place on Friday 20 February in Krakow brought together Allied Ministers and the Ukrainian Minister of Defence Mr. Yurii Yekhanurov.
The informal session of NATO-Ukraine Commission provided an opportunity to discuss best ways for the Alliance to continue support for Ukraine's reforms and preparations for NATO membership, including through implementation of Annual National programme, as well as Ukraine's participation in NATO-led operations.
Opening the meeting the Secretary General said that "NATO remains ready to assist Ukraine in undertaking comprehensive reforms in its defence and security structures. We are determined to continue to develop this strategic partnership."
