Ambassador Claudio Bisogniero visited Sarajevo from 13 - 14 November and met with the members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He also met with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and with the Minister of Defence.

In all his meetings, the Deputy Secretary General expressed NATO's commitment to continue supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina's aspirations of Euro-Atlantic integration. The Deputy Secretary General said that Bosnia and Herzegovina has achieved significant progress in the relationship with NATO in the last few years.

"The Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) and the Intensified Dialogue are good examples of the deepening of our cooperation", he said, adding that NATO now hopes to see from Bosnia and Herzegovina a renewed effort in the reform processes it has agreed to undertake in the framework of the Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP).

The Deputy Secretary General also met with the High Representative (OHR) and EU Special Representative (EUSR) Mr. Miroslav Lajcak.
