The Secretary General of NATO, Mr. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, visited London on Thursday 23 October 2008.
During his visit, the Secretary General met the Prime Minister, Mr. Gordon Brown and the Secretary of State for Defence Mr. John Hutton.
The Secretary General also gave a keynote speech at the Economist Conference on Energy Security.
