The NATO Defense College organizes its 17th Partnership for Peace (PfP) international research seminar with the support of the Swedish National Defence College and the Swedish Armed Forces. The event takes place from 8 to 10 October in Stockholm, Sweden.

The seminar looks at ways to generate greater understanding among Partners of NATO’s Comprehensive Approach with particular focus on practical reforms to military and political planning procedures and the conduct of crisis management.

To improve dialogue and understanding between the Alliance and its Partners, the NATO Defense College has conducted annual Partnership for Peace International Research Seminars since 1992.

These seminars, which are always co-sponsored by a security-oriented institution in a PfP nation, bring together researchers, military officers, and civilian officials from a variety of NATO and PfP nations.
