On 15 September 2008, NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division organized, in the context of the public diplomacy activities for the Mediterranean Dialogue, a visit to NATO Headquarters of high level opinion leaders from Israel.
The distinguished participants in the visit met, among others, with NATO’s Deputy Secretary General, Ambassador Claudio Bisogniero, with NATO’s Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy, Mr. Jean-François Bureau, and attended a working lunch chaired by Mr. Zdeněk Borkovec, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the North Atlantic Council, which acts as NATO’s contact point embassy for Israel.
