On 16 July 2008, Mr Jean-Pierre Jouyet, State Secretary for European Affairs at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met the North Atlantic Council (NAC) following a bilateral meeting with the Secretary General, Mr Jaap de Hoop Scheffer.
Mr. Jouyet presented France’s priorities for the EU Presidency during the next 6 months, covering the area of European security and defence, as well as relations with NATO.
